Ladies Leagues

Its official! NOLTA announces the formation of a new Adult Ladies League designed to attract players with advanced skills. This league will pick up where USTA falls off, USTA 4.5 and higher. While this announcement is official there is little that has been decided about the league at this point. The coordinator of the Advanced Ladies League is Kati Gyulai. Kati is assistant coach for Men's and Women's tennis at UNO - If anyone can pull this off its Kati!

More Expansion - In the past NOLTA offered 2 ladies leagues at levels A-B & B-C. In recent years NOLTA offered a single ladies league that drew a stable group of women playing in the B - C range. With the formation of the Advanced Ladies League there will be a gap. NOLTA is now planning to fill that gap.

The coordinator of the B-C league is Emily Tharpe. Emily is replacing Elizabeth Artigues. Elizabeth has been the coordinator of the ladies league for many years. NOLTA is very thankful to Elizabeth for performing that service all these years.
